Stanton’s estranged husband and the father of her kids, Buonfiglio, is reportedly taking the blonde beauty to court to fight for 50-50 custody of their children, RadarOnline reports.
In the legal documents filed, Buonfiglio criticizes Stanton for appearing on “multiple TV shows.” He alleged that his ex-wife has been “scrutinized by hundreds of thousands of fans for how she has acted and it has put my daughters in tons of media attention, which I believe is causing harm.”
As recalled, Stanton appeared on The Bachelor on Ben Higgins’ season. She also joined BIP 2016, where she received numerous warnings from her co-stars over Murray’s behavior, but she ignored the accusations.
Buonfiglio also claims that Stanton’s income has skyrocketed from $100 yearly up to $20,000 to $30,000 monthly. With that, he wants to reduce his support, which is currently $2,000 per month.
He further said that he was the one who took care of the kids in June while Stanton was away, filming the reality series. Buonfiglio is now seeking to reduce financial support and be given 50-50 custody as he thinks he will be spending more time with the kids due to their mom’s busy career.
According to Hollywood Take, Stanton already agreed to settle everything through mediation, which is scheduled to take place on September 30. If both parties fail to come up with an agreement they will need to take the matter to court.
Buonfiglio and Stanton married in 2012 and divorced in June 2015. During her time on The Bachelor, she opened up about her relationship with her ex-husband. She said her estranged husband was always checking other women on a dating site while they were still together.
Amanda Stanton is now happily living with her new found love, Josh Murray. They are in California with her two daughters: Kinsley, 4 and Charlie, 2.
