According to a report from Hollywood Life, Justin Timberlake is ready to work on a collaboration with Britney Spears, but she is apparently unwilling to work with Jessica Biel’s husband even if they broke up almost 15 years ago. Timberlake reportedly said he is willing to work with Spears, but she refuses to work with him as he has not gotten over the fact that she lost him.
“She does not want to,” a spectator claimed that Spears does not agree with her team’s plan of creating a collaboration of her’s and Timberlake’s music. “Justin is the love of her life and she’s never gotten over losing him.”
Spears and Timberlake dated from 1999 to 2002 and the two musicians apparently broke up when rumors suggested that she was being unfaithful to him with her choreographer, Wade Robson. Their relationship reportedly got uglier when Timberlake wrote his hit song, Cry Me a River which sings about a cheating girlfriend.
“She feels like collaborating with him would just open old wounds and intensify her feelings for him,” the observer claimed. “She has worked hard to move on, and this would undo all of the progress she has made.”
Spears is now single after her marriage from Kevin Federline failed, although it has produced two sons named Sean and Jayden. Meanwhile, Timberlake is happily married to actress Biel.
In the meantime, E! Online revealed that Lance Bass, who is Timberlake’s former co-NSYNC group mate, supports the possible collaboration of the ex-couple. He said he would even join them if they would ask.
As of now, Britney Spears is yet to comment on the reports that she is unwilling to work on a collaboration with Justin Timberlake.
