According to a report from People Magazine, Blake Shelton has given a generous donation to Jimmy Everest Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma worth an amount of $600,000. Gwen Stefani’s boyfriend believes that the hospital needs the monetary help because the staff there are very helpful to the patients who get admitted.

“They do not turn any kids away,” Shelton said. “You come in there, you have a problem, they do not turn anybody away, so I thought, ‘That’s a place that needs some money.’”

The site further claimed that the donation was not the only surprise Shelton had for his hometown since he also performed a duet with Stefani. The couple performed Go Ahead and Break My Heart in front of the happy crowd.

Shelton performed in Oklahoma back in 2013 to help the victims of tornadoes and he was able to raise six million dollars for the American Red Cross of Oklahoma.

In the meantime, E! Online claimed that Stefani was in Oklahoma together with her sons to support Shelton during his hometown tour. The couple purportedly met the state’s governor, Mary Fallin, and they even posed for pictures together with their supporters. Fallin is apparently a fan of the music making couple as she reportedly shared a photo of Stefani wearing a shirt printed with “Oklahoma” on it.

“Great shirt, @gwenstefani! #Oklahoma,” Fallin tweeted.

Rumors are also making headlines that Stefani and Shelton have been planning their marriage for a while now. However, Stefani said she does not know yet as she thinks everything is happening quickly in their relationship.

Blake Shelton’s concert tour will continue throughout the fall. His NBC show, The Voice will be premiering this September 19 at 8 p.m.
