Justin Bieber and Sofia Richie Relationship Status Finally Revealed and Lionel Richie Approves?

Justin Bieber and Sofia Richie have been reportedly dating for quite a while now, although the two young celebrities are yet to admit the real status of their relationship. Is the Sorry singer really afraid of Sofia’s dad, Lionel Richie?

According to a recent report from, the legendary musician, Lionel Richie, has stayed mum about the reports that Justin Bieber is dating his daughter, Sofia. Apparently, Lionel has to follow a strict instruction not to talk about Sofia’s love life with Bieber.


Lionel was spotted with Sofia at a juice bar in Beverly Hills last weekend and he was asked if he approved Sofia and Bieber’s dating status. Sofia was wearing a red, baggy pullover and black pants. She was also seen covering her face while walking beside her dad.

“I am not going there,” as he waved his hand at the insider’s video. “I have strict instructions not to go there.”

He was even asked if he would like to collaborate with the What Do You Mean singer and he said he would figure it out while Sofia ran away as she felt uncomfortable with the conversation about her and Bieber.

In the meantime, Gossip Cop debunked a tabloid’s story claiming that Bieber is afraid of Sofia’s dad. The false report claimed that Lionel is unhappy with Sofia’s choices, especially dating Bieber.

An insider wrongfully claimed that Lionel, “wants to sit down with Justin and make sure he knows the consequences should anything happen to his little girl.”

It even added that “every guy dreads meeting his girlfriend’s dad, but Justin knows Lionel has never been his biggest fan,” the source continued. Fortunately, a source close to the situation claimed that Lionel is not planning to talk Bieber out of it.

As of now, Justin Bieber and Sofia Richie are yet to reveal the real status of their relationship.
