Obame also added, “I mean, imagine, they won’t be able to knock on a door and say, ‘Can I see my room?’”And so, the president and the first lady are trying to create memories for their children, getting them to appreciate even the small activities they do in the place.

Malia, the 18-year-old daughter of the president, will be having a gap year before she enters university after the First Family leaves the White House. Their younger daughter Sasha, who is 15 years old, is completing her high school in Washington D.C.
