‘Digimon Adventure tri.’ English dub Clip Previews Tai’s Encounters With Kuwagamon Joshua Seth Reprises Role Tai

A Digimon Adventure tri. English dub clip started streaming previews of Tai’s first encounter with the Kuwagamon. It also features Joshua Seth, who reprises his role as the main character.

The YouTube channel Fathom Events uploaded a video that features the Digimon Kuwagamon creating havoc in Tai’s town. Tai, along with the other civilians, finds the Kuwagamon at the top of a building.


When the Digimon roars, the people start panicking and running away. Kuwagamon dives to the ground assaulting Tai.

The protagonist tries to dodge its attack. But before Tai can even get away on his bike, the Digimon’s weight shook the land. Subsequently, Tai realizes that Kuwagamon is after him.

Apart from Joshua Seth who is voicing Tai, the returning cast also include: Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Sora, Melodee M. Spevack as Birdramon, Tom Fahn as Agumon, Mona Marshall as Izzy, Jeff Nimoy as Tentomon Kabuterimon, R. Martin Klein as Gomamon, Philece Sampler as Mimi, Anna Garduno as Palmon, Mari Devon as Togemon, Laura Summer as Patamon, Dave Mallow as Angemon and Kirk Thornton as Gabumon Garurumon.

As for the other voice actors, Daymon is replacing Michael Lindsay as Joe, Higgins is now Gatomon, reports Anime News Network. Bosch is cast as T.K. while Sands is voicing the character, Kari.

Mignogna is now Matt, whereas Leigh is taking the role as Biyomon. Hebert is voice acting for Greymon.

The English dub version of Digimon Adventure tri.- Chapter 1: Reunion will premiere in U.S. on Thursday, Sept. 16. It will open as a one-night Fathom Events that will screen in more than 400 theaters.

The six-part series Digimon Adventure tri.’s original Japanese version was released on Nov. 21, 2015. Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02, Digimon Tamers, Digimon Frontier, DigimonData Squad (Savers) and Digimon Fusion (Xros Wars) are the titles of the TV anime series.
