According to Calvin Watkins of ESPN, Green has immediately apologized for the act that he did. He certainly needs to apologize since he currently represents team USA in the Olympics.

Draymond added that he did not intentionally commit the act.

Before this, the 26-year-old also got involved in an altercation with Lebron James. This happened during the game four of the 2016 NBA Finals. The incident has given Green a one-game suspension by the league.

The league suspended Green for he appeared to hit James in the groin.

Golden State had a 3-1 lead before the suspension happened. This incident has ultimately affected the Warriors as they lost in game five. The fifth game is really crucial since Cleveland gained momentum en route to coming back and winning the title.

However, the Warriors had an unbelievable 2015-2016 regular season. This is because they won 73 games. They also beat the previous record of most wins in an NBA season set by the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls made the record at 72 wins during the 1995-1996 season.

The Warriors could have been the greatest team had they won the championship.

Draymond is primarily a point-forward who plays multiple positions. He mostly operates inside the paint as he anchors the Warriors’ offense and defense.

He averaged 15.4 points per game, 9.9 rebounds per game and 6.0 assists per game last season.
