Bishop Grosseteste will increase its tuition fees next year to the upper limit of £9,250. Full time undergraduates joining from 2017/18 can expect to pay £9,250 for their education, while students studying foundation degrees will see their fees rise to £6,938. It comes after the MPs decided universities could increase their fees by 2.8 per cent in line with inflation. Universities will have to reach a quality threshold to be allowed to increase the fees.
