Conor McGregor will win in four, says Coach John Kavanagh
The welterweight rematch between featherweight champion Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz is merely a month away. After the disappointing postponement of the bout in UFC 200, fans are eagerly anticipating the second time these two fighters will meet in the Octagon. Predictions and pre-fight forecasts have already been flying around the web, but who else can better weigh in on the possible outcome than Conor McGregor’s coach- John Kavanagh.

On a recent Periscope Q&A with fans, the SBG Ireland head coach punched in on his prediction for UFC 202, confidently saying that McGregor will win in four. Promising to go easy on the steak this time around, Kavanagh has assured that Conor is “100 times more serious” now, and emphasized that he just “got tired” early in the first fight. According to McGregor’s coach, careless release of “too many power shots” also contributed to his inefficiency and gassing out early in UFC 196.
Many will still remember the shocking loss handed to McGregor by Diaz via rear-naked choke in the second-round of their last bout. To top it off, Nate was only given a two week notice before the fight, as Conor was scheduled to go at it with Rafael dos Anjos.

A win for the Notorious will not just mean redemption, but will earn him newfound respect from his fans and peers. A Diaz defeat may also reopen talks of a match with reigning and surging welterweight champion Robbie Lawler, who will also be defending his title against Tyron Woodley on July 30 at UFC 201.
