'NCIS' Season 14 Spoilers: Premiere Episode Plot Update; Will Gibbs, Fornell See Eye to Eye?

NCIS Season 14 will be aired within a few days and its premiere episode is entitled Rogue. Gibbs (Mark Harmon) could be spending a lot of time with Tobias C. Fornell (Joe Spano) since the duo will be seen as roommates in this new season.

The association of Fornell and Gibbs is nothing new. There are many common things that these two share. Incidentally both were shot during their duty hours.


According to a report published in International Business Times,  though the duo shares long years of relationship and great camaraderie, these two characters could be seen rubbing one another the wrong way.

Gary Glasberg, Executive Producer of the show recently teased that the followers of the series should be prepared for enjoying some hilarious and light-hearted elements on the show for the coming season.

The chief may have to go through trying times in the new season since DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) is no more. So he needs to find a good replacement for the departed member.

Alex Quinn (Jennifer Esposito), Special agent asks him why all the applicants sent by her for the empty post were rejected by him. She wonder why the crew chief does not find any of the applicants appropriate for the post in the premiere episode.

Episode 1 of NCIS Season 14 could also find that a fresh case waits for the NCIS team involving Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) who is an undercover agent. At the end of Episode 1, Torres and Quinn could become a part of the team.

In other news, TV Guide (Blog) reported that viewers should brace themselves for some major changes in the new season. The upcoming season could be showcasing events that will be picking up threads some months after the exit of Tony.

The EP also teased, “The intent was to really enter Season 14 with something new, and move the show forward, and try some things, and do something different.”

NCIS Season 14 will premiere on Wednesday, September 20 on CBS.
